The following are proposals for a continuous obligation. This means I will send these to you on a regular basis and you agree that you will pay for each one. Payment must be by debit or credit card on the date I send you the article. I will process the payment through my website, which uses PayPal.

1. Goose Tales- This is a column written in the voice of a goose at Cosby Lake. It includes thoughts concerning current events going on in Clay, particularly at Cosby Lake. Price- $50 per article (Size 2)
   
2. Life’s Lessons– This is a column written about how life’s lessons can be found in every day events and in our surroundings.  Price- $50 per article (I am offering to do either Goose Tales or Life’s Lessons, not both.)  (Size 2)
   
3. Obituaries (plain) for Trussville, Pinson or Clay- I will check the obituaries daily on al.com to find the ones of people who lived in Trussville, Clay or Pinson. I will contact the family to get permission to run it in your newspaper. Price- $35 per obituary.  (Size 1)
   
4. Obituary stories for Trussville and Clay- If you agree to this commitment, then every two weeks, I will attempt to turn one obituary for each area (Trussville and Clay) into a  story about the person, particularly the aspect of that person’s life or personality that made them unique. Photo included when family will give one.  Price- $65 per article (Size 3)

Obituary stories for Clay and Pinson- If you agree to this commitment, then every two weeks, I will attempt to turn one obituary for each area (Clay and Pinson) into a  story about the person, particularly the aspect of that person’s life or personality that made them unique. 6. Man on the Street Interview for Clay- This includes the photos and a short response from four people in Clay as to what they think of a recent local news story.This is similar to the USA Today style. Price- $65 (Size 3)

8. People in the Neighborhood for Clay- This is an interview with regular people as they are going about their daily activities. The interview includes anything interesting going on in their life at the time and why they are doing what they are doing at the time. This was very popular in Clay News because people got to see their friends in addition to the newsmakers. It also increased distribution. Price-$65 (Size 3)

The following are proposals that are not a continuous obligation. If I find a story like this, before I do the story, I will ask you if you want to publish the article and tell you the price. If you say yes, then you are committed to pay me for the story after I have written it. You understand that if you are not interested in publishing the story when I ask, then I will be free to offer the article to another newspaper. If you tell me you are interested in publishing stories within these categories, then I will offer them to you first. If you say you want these type of stories, but you decline three stories in a row within that category, then I will start offering them to another newspaper first. 6. Events at the Clay Community Center- These will be articles of events schedule for the Clay Community Center. It will include photos. Price- $75 per article (Size 7)

9. Fun Things to do within a Two-hour Drive: This is about some little-known recreation places within two hours of the Clay/Pinson/Springville/Trussville area. I don't have a name for this column, but the idea is for it to be written from the perspective of my visiting the place to experience it. Some ideas include the spy museum (which has every kind of gun made) in Anniston and the Dismals Canyons (with blue glowworms) between Russellville and Hamilton. The idea will be to show people the little-known recreational activities rather than the well-known places. I am willing to do this as a regular obligation or not. Price-$85 per article (Size 4)
