The Clay-Chalkville Lady Cougars played even with topped ranked Bob Jones for three quarters on January 29. With the score tied 35-35, Bob Jones outscored CCSH 13-7 in the final quarter and captured the Class 6A state championship. CCHS shot better than 50% from the field (16-of-31) but struggled from three point range (5-of-18). The Lady Cougars also missed on six of eleven free throw attempts. Bob Jones out-rebounded CCHS 31-1.
