The harvest is already coming in for Jefferson County area senior citizens. The Jefferson County Office of Senior Citizens Services and the State Farmer's Market Authority will be distributing 10,000 coupons to be used to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs.

To participate, a person must be age 60 or older, live in Jefferson County and fall within the following income levels:

• $1,517 per month or less for a single household
• $2,042 per month of less for a household of two
• $2,567 per month or less for a household of three

A person must present a driver's license to receive the coupons, distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Only one coupon per person.

The closest pick up location for Clay residents will be the Center Point Courthouse on June 1-5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
